The Times Building (today One Times Square) is a 25-story skyscraper located on the city block bounded by Broadway, 7th Avenue, West 42nd Street and West 43rd Street, in Midtown Manhattan. It was built in 1904. The New York Times was founded in 1851.

Raymond and banker George Jones, under the name The New-York Daily Times.The paper's first headquarters was on Nassau Street, but by 1904, it would move to a new building at 42nd Street and Broadway, eventually lending its name to the entire area, which would become known.
